My challenge rug is coming along just fine, I'm thinking of taking it to the dry cleaners to have it steam pressed flat. It's small enough that it won't fit awkwardly into the press. Is that cheating? We'll see...

A New Year, New Goals...

Nope, I didn't finish hooking the Mr. Rabbity pillow or my cowboy rug, but for sure they are on my list of rug projects to complete this new year. At the same time I'm going to build a rug kit around the Arizona Domestic Zoo runner that Carol Miller from Mesa AZ designed and hooked. Next step, buy that pattern. Carol, hope you mind if I show off your rug!!

Arts&Crafts, Mission Style, Stickley RUGs...

I love the Arts &Crafts era of furniture and stained glass windows. I just never thought much about the wool rugs that covered those wood floors. Ohhh, I found some beauties! Stickley is my favorite name in Mission Style furniture, shame on me that I didn't know they had a line of wool rugs too. Look what I found on Pinterest!? Let's have another Show and Tell... Enjoy!!

Googled Hooked Pillows

Whenever I want to know something, from lyrics to a song, to how many different kinds of ants make their home in Tucson, I google it... So this is how I went searching for hooked pillows. I don't know who these beautiful creations belong to or how many are hand hooked or machine hooked, all are awesome, so I decided to have a little show and tell. I just hope the hookers who created them don't mind!!
